Let It Go

Get Healed and Be Done With It.

Written by Eden Clark

Years ago when I was deep in the Amazon jungle sitting in ceremony with the local shaman, known as the Curanderos, we were speaking in circle about our experiences.

One woman commented that her spiritual journey over the last 15 years had been about healing. One of the shamans replied,

Why would you make your life about healing? Get healed and be done with it! Make your life about something more“.

This comment has stuck with me through the years as I faced different challenges. I would dredge up the past or some wound that had seemingly surfaced, driving me in to a deeper state of awareness of who I am.   I would often think “can I be done with the healing already?”.

But then I realized – I AM done.

I did a tremendous amount of healing over a 2 year period, often incredibly painful and spanning many lifetimes of karmic cycles. I did release and forgiveness ceremonies, I saw healers, I worked with plant medicines, I asked to see what needed healing and journeyed deep in to the darkness of my own Soul. I emerged completely and totally transformed. I then chose to make my life about Love and Light, about spiritual adventures and being in service to others. Now, as challenges arise, I see them not as past wounds but rather a new lesson arising as part of the evolution of my Soul and its greater purpose. All of which I have consciously chosen.

Life will always bring its cycles and ways to uncover the layers of who we are, but with each uncovering, I choose to be grateful for making my life about something much more in alignment with the Truth of who I Am.  So get healed and be done with it.  Make your life about something more.
