Last night was a magical night at a waterfront home in Malibu, being in ceremony with a gathering of elder wisdom keepers from the Hopi, Kogi, Algonquin, and Mayan nations. The picture here is of the Double Eagle Dance, performed by beautiful Hopi teenagers & children.
At times their sharing was empowering, at times joyous, at times serious and the gravity of the job ahead opened our hearts and minds to how we need to shift our approach to life, our food, our water, and each other. I have profoundly deepened my respect and honoring for everything these elders do for humanity. For everything they do for this planet. We are (still) here because of them. We must listen to their wisdom and ways to keep our planet in balance.
Hint: Start giving back. Don’t just take. Give back to Earth. Honor her. Pray to her. Make peace with her. Make offerings. Learn to GIVE to our planet through honoring and respect.
