Humanity is Tired

Written by Eden Clark

Humanity is tired. As a species, as one race, we have lived lifetimes of incarnations working through the darkness to come back in to Light. Lifetimes of traumas, war, injustice, brutality, and pain, our hearts closed up while we beared the weight of human existence and its attempt at reconciling the extreme imbalance that befell our earth. Although there have been (nearly) always moments of light and love even in the darkest of times, our hearts and our souls beared the brunt.

This is one of the lessons I saw so clearly while I sat in ceremony late at night in the jungle with the curanderos, our shaman healers. I was shown humanity’s exhaustion, as well as my own depletion which went beyond the self-sacrifice of bearing and raising children. My heart was tired, my bones were tired, my very soul was tired. I was shown how humanity was exhausted, and we are all in need of deep rest. We need to release the weight we have all been carrying and come back in to balance. Only then can we get the kind of rest that comes when our souls are at peace and fully free to once again express our true Light. We have come a long way, but so many don’t realize the toll it has taken on our very core essence to live the paths we have chosen.

As many now open up to All That Is and re-remember their greater purpose here on earth, we must find time to rest. If not, we continue to over-tax the energetic body as we strive to evolve and re-open our hearts to their fullest extent. Our collective evolution is tired, and as a result even those of us returning to Light bear the weight of humanity at some level.

And so the answer is: rest. There is no need for apologies, no need to make excuses. Find time every day, every week, to rest the mind, rest the heart, and find peace within the soul. Consciously release the weight of the collective held in your inner most heart, the place accessed only in those moments of absolute stillness. Sleep, daydream in nature, and simply just be – without doing, without trying, without thinking – without trying to create or love or give or evolve. Take a deep breathe and just be.

We can only deplete ourselves so long before our souls give out and return to Source, purely because we need to stop, pause, and return to the Void energy of perfect stillness. It is in that place of nothingness that we are restored and made whole, to once again be birthed in to Light.

The ability to release the weight and rest my soul that evening in the jungle has restored a new level of energy to my being (despite still being woken up several times a night by my children and the demands of parenthood, work, and life). My physical body gets tired, but my soul is more rested than it has been in a dozen centuries.

We all need a collective sigh, a letting go of the inner most weight we have all been carrying so we can return to our full power to create the New Earth – free, fully energized, and ready to Love.
