This month we were honored to lead two private, intimate sacred ceremonies at our home in Laguna Beach. It’s a time for us to connect with like-minded Souls and help to deepen their path, whatever that may be for them.
Coming together in tribe – in group – to cleanse the body and deepen one’s connection with Spirit has been done for centuries across many spiritual and religious traditions. It doesn’t have to follow any one set of rules: the key is to set the intention for the day, for each person to be in alignment with their own intentions and desires, and honor the process that unfolds.
We began early morning, cleansing each person as they arrived. We work with various herbs and plant medicines to aid us in going deeper.
We worked with each person to clear away the old issues holding them back, freeing their bodies to step more powerfully in to the ‘new’ they were calling in.
When impeccable space is held for another’s transition, miracles do happen. People feel safe, they can go deep in to their own emotions, and call forth whatever it is holding them back.
In sacred circle, all becomes possible. We can surrender from our day-to-day lives and step in to that place of unknown. Its that place – a place of stillness and emptiness – where our true inner voices are able to be heard.
When we don’t fear what’s there to be seen, we can be with what is – what is really up with our hearts, our minds, our doubts, and our fears. It is there that miracles can be worked, because we’re working with Truth – our truth.
Then, when the path becomes clear, we can come in to true alignment with our highest calling. We can gaze out to the horizon and realize “Everything is perfect, everything is as it should be. Everything will be ok”. We’re able to take a breath and realize how far down the rabbit hole we often take ourselves when we’re coming from scarcity, fear, doubt and old wounds.
After a long, 10 hour day of ceremony, we each left with profound awakenings from Spirit and a feeling of accomplishment – that we came with our intentions, and left filled with love and light, trusting the path before us.
